TRAFFIC BLOCKED ON I-10 EARLIER TODAY DUE TO CRASH

A big crash backed up I-10 this morning. FHP says the crash involved two semi-trucks and two other vehicles. It all started when a truck driver from California apparently fell asleep, and his truck overturned. FHP says the truck and trailer ended up on their side. The trailer contains 37-thousand pounds of cranberry juice. As the truck ran off the road, it crashed into another vehicle driven by a 93-year-old Pensacola man, and his car then hit an SUV driven by a 47-year-old Milton woman. Another semi then jackknifed about a 1/4 mile back as it was trying to stop when traffic came to a halt. Both the East and Westbound lanes of I-10 are now flowing again.
