Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Pensacola's own Keyla Richardson returned home yesterday for Keylafest -- a celebration of her success on American Idol. Keyla visited notable sites with TV cameras following her, including NAS Pensacola where she watched the Blue Angels practice and met the pilots, she was then honored with a parade on South Palafox that ended with her receiving the Key to the City from Mayor DC Reeves at Plaza de Luna. Thousands turned out for a free concert at Hunter Amphitheater behind Maritime Park where she performed some of the songs she's known for in the tv competition. She'll be competing with two other finalists on Monday's finale episode of American Idol on ABC.
