THIRD MAN CHARGED IN TOPAZ AVENUE HOMICIDE

A third person is now facing charges in the homicide on Topaz Avenue back in April of last year. 20-year-old Demetrius Ranaldson Jr. is wanted on a first-degree premeditated murder charge in Escambia County. He's currently in jail on unrelated charges in Santa Rosa County. Two others were charged last week, 24-year-old Taziah Dixon and 29-year-old Ladre Galloway. Investigators believe Dixon and Ranaldson ambushed, shot, and killed the victim -- identified as Keith Beasley, as he and another man picked up a vehicle from the home on Topaz Avenue on April 30th of last year. They believe Galloway did not fire any shots, but was involved in the plot. Dixon is currently serving a 12-year sentence in relation to another drive-by shooting in Pensacola in 2023. Galloway is also being held without bond in the Escambia County jail. There's no word when Ranaldson will be transferred to Escambia County on the homicide charge.
