Ascension Sacred Heart Opening New Freestanding ER in Pace

Pace, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Ascension Sacred Heart is cutting the ribbon on a new freestanding emergency room in Pace today. It's located in the Five Points area in the 57-hundred block of Chumuckla Highway. Ascension says it will brin gexpanded access to high quality emergency care close to patients who liv ein the area. It's 11-thousand square feet and has two triage areas, a trauma room, ten treatment spaces, and onsite labs, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound capabilities. More than 40 people will work at the facility. It opens to the public tomorrow.
