TEEN HIT BY ERRANT BULLET

A teenager was hit by a stray bullet at a local apartment complex on Sunday. Officials say it happened at Oakwood Terrace. The 17-year-old was walking around Massachusetts Avenue and Market Street when they heard an argument between two people outside of the complex, then heard several gunshots. The victim said they ran away and got to a nearby gas station before they realized that they had been shot. The victim's mother drove the teen to the hospital where they were treated for a wound to the hand. An investigation is ongoing.
