Tate Volleyball Falls to Spanish Fort in Straight Sets

The Tate High School Aggies couldn't keep their momentum rolling Wednesday evening, dropping a straight-sets match to visiting Spanish Fort High School in Cantonment. The Toros dominated the contest, winning 25-14, 25-20, 25-14 in what marked a quick turnaround for the Aggies after a strong performance the night before.

Tate had been riding high after picking up a 3-1 victory over Booker T. Washington on Tuesday, but the team ran into a tough test against the Alabama-based Spanish Fort squad. The Toros came into Escambia County and controlled play throughout the evening, showing little struggle in any of the three sets.

The loss drops Tate's record and sets up another opportunity to bounce back in upcoming matches as the volleyball season continues.
