Suspect Killed in Officer-Involved Shooting at Carlton Palms

A suspect has died from his injuries following an officer-involved shooting in Pensacola late Wednesday afternoon. Pensacola Police responded to Carlton Palms on Garden Street around 3:45 p-m. Police say a man opened fire on the first floor of the building. The suspect was confronted as he made his way outside and officers shot him. He received treatment for his injuries before being pronounced dead at a local hospital. Police swept the building and reported no one inside was hurt.
