Surfin' Santa Parade Set for Dec. 6 on Pensacola Beach

The Pensacola Beach Chamber of Commerce is calling for parade entries ahead of this year's Surfin' Santa Beach Parade, a holiday tradition that draws thousands of families to the island.

The parade is scheduled for Sunday, December 6, beginning at 2 p.m. from Avenida 10 and running down Via de Luna toward Casino Beach, ending at the Gulfside Pavilion. Entry is open to local businesses, nonprofits, community organizations, and groups of friends. Registration fees are $50 for nonprofits and $100 for commercial businesses, with all fees nonrefundable.

Participants should check in and line up starting at 12:30 p.m. at the basketball courts (corner of Panferio Drive and Via de Luna Drive). Organizers will award prizes for the top three best-decorated floats.
