Shumaker Advisors launches roundtable series with Amendment 3 discussion

Shumaker Advisors is launching The Connection Point, a new roundtable series aimed at bringing together business, civic, and government leaders across Northwest Florida for discussions on regional opportunities and challenges.

The inaugural event, held in partnership with the Greater Pensacola Chamber of Commerce, will focus on Amendment 3. The roundtable is scheduled for Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 1 p.m., and will be led by Escambia County Commissioner Mike Kohler and Walter Pierce. According to a press release, the discussion will examine the amendment from multiple perspectives to help attendees understand the issue and its potential implications.

Sara Lefevers, Vice President at Shumaker Advisors, said the series is designed to create "a trusted space" for regional leaders to exchange ideas on complex issues and identify collaboration opportunities. "Northwest Florida's continued success depends on leaders from across the region having a trusted space to exchange ideas, better understand complex issues, and identify opportunities to work together," Lefevers said in the release.

The firm plans to announce additional roundtables and topics as the series continues. Those interested can register for the inaugural event through Shumaker Advisors.
