Scott Introduces Bill to Ban Chinese Citrus Imports

SCOTT INTRODUCES BILL TO BAN C ITRUS IMPORTS FROM CHINA

(Washington, DC) -- Rick Scott has an idea he says will protect American citrus producers. Senator Scott introduced a bill yesterday that bans citrus imports from China. He says the United State Citrus Protection Act will protect American jobs, ensure the integrity of domestic agriculture and reduce our reliance on goods produced by regimes that pose a threat to us. Florida Congressman Greg Steube is backing a similar bill in the House.
