Scott Announces Support For Disaster Relief Act

(Washington, DC) -- Rick Scott is getting more support for his effort to provide relief for those hit by natural disasters. Senator Scott announced yesterday his Federal Disaster Tax Relief Act of 2025 has picked up support from two California Democrats. They are Senator Adam Schiff and Congressman Mike Thompson. The bill would provide tax relief for victims of federally declared disasters through the end of 2026. Scott says it's great to have bipartisan support on common-sense legislation.
