Santa Rosa County Artificial Reef Grant Extended Through December 2026

Santa Rosa County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Santa Rosa County's $1.3 million state grant for artificial reef construction has been extended through December 2026. Commissioners approved the extension Thursday after design changes required additional time. The Navarre snorkel reef is already drawing visitors from across the region. Commissioner Ray Eddington credited Mike Sandler of the Navarre Chamber of Commerce Foundation for driving the project from outside government.
