SAENGER THEATRE CELEBRATES 100 YEARS

Pensacola's Saenger Theatre is celebrating 100 years, and hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon today, featuring participation by the Pensacola Chamber of Commerce, Friends of the Saenger, and Mayor D C Reeves, who told NewsRadio. Guided tours of the Saenger are available until 5 today, and at 6 a screening of the silent movie "The Ten Commandments, which was the first show ever played at the Saenger on April 2nd, 1925, will take place.
