031325 (JAX 4) Gun rights advocates continue to fight to overturn a Florida law banning gun purchases by people under 21. Representative Michaelle Salzman says, "If the measure passes, Floridians aged 18 and older would be able to purchase a long gun." Those under 21 would still be barred from buying a handgun from a licensed dealer. The measure has the backing of Florida House Speaker Daniel Perez and Gov. DeSantis.
