Two residents, three dogs rescued from Escambia County house fire

Escambia County Fire Rescue responded to a residential structure fire Tuesday, successfully evacuating two people and three dogs from the burning home without any injuries reported.

Firefighters arrived on scene and worked quickly to locate and remove the residents and their pets before conditions inside the home became more dangerous. All occupants were accounted for and safely removed from the structure.

The Escambia County Fire Rescue Department did not immediately release additional details about the cause of the fire or the extent of damage to the home. The incident remains under investigation.
