PSC Names State Commerce Secretary As Sole Finalist For President

Pensacola, FL (NewsRadio 92.3) -- Pensacola State College's board of trustees has named Florida Commerce Secretary Alex Kelly as the sole finalist to become the college's next president. Kelly would replace Ed Meadows, who's retiring at the end of the year after leading PSC since 2008. Kelly has served in several roles under Governor DeSantis, including deputy chief of staff and chief of staff at the Department of Education. He's set to visit campus in late September to meet with students, faculty, and community members. Kelly joins a growing list of DeSantis administration officials who've taken top leadership roles at Florida colleges and universities in recent years.
