PPD Investigating Sunday Shooting

Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Pensacola police are investigating a shooting early Sunday morning on West Gasden Street. Police say officers in the area heard the gunfire, then received a shotspotter alert with the exact location. Officers responded to 800 West Gadsden where they found one adult with gunshot wounds. Polcie say the person's injuries are not life-threatening. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment. So far there's no word on suspects. The investigation is ongoing.
