PERSON DIES AFTER CRASH ON ESCAMBIA BAY BRIDGE

One person died after a four-vehicle crash on the Escambia Bay Bridge yesterday afternoon that tied up area traffic for hours. The Florida Highway Patrol says one of the vehicles caught on fire after the crash -- troopers say the driver of that vehicle died and is currently unidentified. A 26-year-old man from Dothan, Alabama, and a 55-year-old from Milton were both transported to Sacred Heart Hospital with minor, non-life-threatening injuries. FHP is still investigating.
