Person Dead After Driver Flees Police, Crashes Into Another Vehicle in Pensacola

Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A person is dead after a driver fleeing a Pensacola Police officer crashed into their vehicle Tuesday evening. Police say an officer attempted to stop a vehicle when the driver fled and struck another car at T and Avery Street about 30 seconds later. The driver of the vehicle that was hit was pronounced dead at the scene. Florida Highway Patrol is investigating.
