Pensacola Seafood Festival returns for 49th year this fall

Festival season is ramping up across the Pensacola area, and organizers are putting the final touches on events that have been in the works for months. The 49th Annual Pensacola Seafood Festival is among the major draws coming this fall, according to the Fiesta Pensacola Foundation.

"We have been gearing up for this for months," said Fiesta Pensacola Foundation Director Margaret-Anne West. The festival is one of several major community events scheduled as the weather cools and outdoor gatherings become more popular in Northwest Florida.

Fall festivals typically draw thousands of visitors to the Pensacola area and feature local food, music, crafts, and family entertainment. The seafood festival, in particular, showcases regional restaurants and vendors highlighting fresh catches from the Gulf of Mexico.
