Pensacola residents want Mardi Gras parades back on Palafox Street, survey shows

A new survey indicates that Pensacola residents favor returning the city's Grand Mardi Gras Parade to Palafox Street, where it ran for 24 years before being relocated, according to WKRG News 5.

Tony Vance, president of the Krewe of Cheers, noted the parade's long history on the downtown street. "We've always rolled down Palafox Street," Vance said.
