PENSACOLA MAN SENTENCED TO LIFE IN PRISON FOR 2023 MURDER

A 28-year-old Pensacola man was sentenced to life in prison yesterday for the murder of his cousin in September 2023. A jury found Jerry Keane Foster Jr. guilty of First Degree Premeditated Murder before he received a life sentence. The incident happened on September 9, 2023, on Emerald Ave. When deputies arrived, they found 38-year-old Jarvis Johnson, who is Foster's cousin, lying in the front yard with multiple gunshot wounds. The shooting was said to be over an ongoing family dispute.
