PENSACOLA MAN DIES WHILE SWIMMING IN THE BAHAMAS

A 55-year-old Pensacola man died in a drowning incident yesterday in the northern Bahamas. According to the Royal Bahamas Police Force, the incident happened around noon in the Bimini Islands. Police say the Pensacola man, who was a cruise ship passenger, was swimming on Radio Beach along with a family member. The family member then reportedly lost sight of the man, later discovering him unresponsive onshore. The man was administered CPR on the scene and transported to the local clinic, where he was pronounced dead. Royal Bahamas Police Force continues to investigate.
