PENSACOLA DEPUTY CITY ADMINISTRATOR RESIGNS 1/14

Pensacola FL (Pensacola News Journal) Deputy City Administrator David Forte has resigned from the city of Pensacola. The P N J reports that Forte resigned from the city on January 6, which means the city lost two senior-level officials last week. Port Director Clark Merritt also resigned last week. Forte was named to be one of the city's two deputy administrators by former Mayor Grover Robinson in 2021, and oversaw the city's community development departments, including Public Works & Facilities, Community Redevelopment Agency, and Parks & Recreation. Forte joined the city in March 2020, coming from Escambia County, where he was the Transportation and Traffic Operations Division manager.
