Okaloosa County Teacher Arrested for Sex with Student

(Crestview, FL) -- An Okaloosa County teacher is accused of having sex with a student. The sheriff's office announced yesterday Timothy John Sexton was arrested. The 58-year-old teaches at Crestview High School, and he used to teach at Pryor Middle School. Deputies say he started a relationship with a girl in 2001 when she was 14, and the relationship continued until she was 17. The investigation started after the sheriff's office and the school district got a tip three months ago. Sexton is being held without bond. Sheriff Eric Aden says there's no expiration date on seeking justice for victims.
