NORTH ESCAMBIA RESIDENTS BRING ATTENTION TO EMS ISSUES

Escambia's District 5 Commissioner says "something will happen" in response to resident complaints about the lack of EMS availability. During a town hall meeting this week, residents said that far too often, ambulances that service Century, Walnut Hill, and Molino are being pulled away. Steven Barry and other county leaders say they're in the process of hiring 18 additional EMS employees, including 9 medics and 9 EMTs.
