No New Candidates for Century Mayor, Councilmember

BOTH INTERIM MAYOR/COUNCILMAN IN CENTURY WIN SEATS BY DEFAULT -- David Wayne

Century, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- The current interim mayor and interim town council member in Century will keep their seats -- that's because nobody else qualified to run for those seats in the planned special election in November. Luis Gomez Jr. was elected as the only candidate to be the Mayor of Century, and Henry Cunningham was elected for the town council seat vacated by Gomez when he was appointed as Mayor. Both men will continue to hold their interim seats until they are sworn in sometime in November.
