NAS Pensacola draws 3,000 students for STEAM career event

Naval Air Station Pensacola hosted its second annual STEAM career education event Thursday, drawing about 3,000 students from across the region. The day-long program introduced attendees to opportunities in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics, according to WKRG News 5.

The event brought together students with military and civilian professionals working in STEAM fields, giving young people a chance to explore potential career paths while learning about the diverse roles available within the naval aviation community and beyond. Thursday's gathering represented a significant expansion of what organizers described as their second year hosting the initiative at the base.
