We are under a severe thunderstorm watch until 1pm. As of about 9am, the NewsRadio threat net radar showed a thick line of thunderstorms with a lot of lightning stretching from New Orleans up to Tennessee heading in our direction. Yesterday Streets were flooded as heavy rain poured down in parts of Northwest Florida, which led to a Flash Flood Warning. Some travelers were stuck in their vehicles as they became submerged in the flood waters. Some of the damage reported included flooded roads, a tree falling on a backyard shed, and water as it made its way down the stairs in Dillards, flooding the shoe department.
