Mobile Man Pleads Guilty to Murdering Pensacola Air Force Reservist

Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A Mobile man has pleaded guilty to murdering his Air Force girlfriend at a Pensacola apartment complex in January 2025. Charles Carson-Dowdy shot Senior Airman Star Tucker multiple times and ran her over twice with her own Jeep after she tried to end their relationship. He faces up to life in prison at sentencing August 25th. Tucker was a nurse and member of the 919th Special Operations Medical Squadron and left behind a young son.
