Mobile Drug Council Hosts Overdose Awareness Day Concert

The Mobile Drug Education Council is planning a special concert to mark Overdose Awareness Day and kick off Recovery Month, according to a news release. The event will feature pianist John McAndrew and aims to create a night focused on music, hope, and remembrance for those affected by substance use disorder.

Overdose Awareness Day is observed annually to honor lives lost to overdose and raise awareness about the ongoing addiction crisis affecting communities across the region.
