Mississippi offers rare driver's license event in Pascagoula

Mississippi residents in the Pascagoula area will have a chance to renew, replace, or obtain a state driver's license or identification card at a special event announced by the Pascagoula Police Department. According to the department's Facebook post, the event begins at 9 a.m., providing a rare opportunity for residents to handle license services without visiting a traditional DMV location.

Details about the event's duration and specific location within Pascagoula were not immediately available, but residents interested in taking advantage of the service should monitor the Pascagoula Police Department's social media pages for complete information.

While this event is across the state line in Mississippi, residents in nearby Gulf Coast communities who hold Mississippi licenses may want to mark their calendars if they need license renewal or replacement services.
