Milton's Lawsuit Against Mayor Is Over

It looks like Milton's lawsuit against Mayor Heather Lindsay has come to a conclusion. According to the PN, Circuit Court Judge J. Scott Duncan has denied Howard Steele's motion to intervene. He wanted access to 315 documents previously deemed public records, but the judge ruled that the request was narrower than the city's original demand and that a settlement had been reached. The case was closed after the city decided not to pursue the records, and the judge concluded that Lindsay would not have to release the contested documents.
