MILTON COUNCIL PASSES CENSURES OF MAYOR LINDSAY

The city council in Milton has voted to pass two censures on Mayor Heather Lindsay. Two resolutions accuse the mayor of lying and abusing her powers in the city. The complaints will now be submitted to the Florida Commission on Ethics. Mayor Lindsay has recently faced accusations from city employees about erratic and abusive behavior leading to a toxic working environment in the city. She is also accused of committing perjury and lying about city attorney Alex Andrade by filing a complaint with the state bar that was deemed politically motivated and outside the bar's purview. Lindsay wasn't in attendance at the meeting, but has previously denied any criminal wrongdoing.
