Man Seriously Injured in Escambia County Convenience Store Shooting

Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- The Escambia Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting this morning at a convenience store on Highway 29. It happened at the Valero gas station near the back Diamond Sports Lounge across from International Paper. The victim is being treated for not life-threatening injuries including a broken femur. He said he did not hear a shot or see anyone but suddenly felt a pain in his leg. Deputies did not find any shell casings at the scene.
