Man Caught on FDOT Cameras Pulling Wire From Interstate Light Poles

Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A man is facing felony charges after Florida Highway Patrol says he was caught on FDOT traffic cameras breaking into light poles along Interstate 10 in Escambia County and pulling out wiring. Troopers responded to mile marker 15 Friday afternoon and found John Edward Stone Jr. in possession of tools used to open the access panels and cut the wires along with drug paraphernalia. Stone faces felony criminal mischief and burglary tools charges among others.
