Kohler Wins Second Term as Escambia County Commissioner

Republican Mike Kohler secured reelection to the Escambia County Commission in District 2 on Tuesday, defeating Democratic challenger Mathious D. Robinson. Kohler took 56.32% of the vote with 9,989 ballots cast in his favor, while Robinson garnered 43.35% with 7,668 votes. Write-in candidate Erica King Pleas Sims Riley received 58 votes, or 0.33% of the total cast in the race. Kohler will continue representing the district on the five-member county commission.
