Jury Convicts Pensacola Man in Deadly Crash

An Escambia County jury has convicted the Pensacola man who caused a deadly crash in 2021. According to Channel 3, 24-year-old Zhonterius Jones was found guilty of two counts of vehicular homicide and one count of reckless driving causing serious injury and will spend life in prison. On December 3rd, 2021, Jones was driving over 120 miles per hour when his car crashed into two buildings on Beverly Parkway. Two passengers, Demetrius Anderson and Demarius Nickerson, were killed while a third, Lewis Finklea, was paralyzed.
