Joy of Life Golf Tournament Supports St. Jude Charity

The eighth annual Joy of Life charity golf tournament will tee off October 16 in Fairhope, with proceeds going to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Registration opens at 8 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 9 a.m., according to WKRG News 5.

The tournament has become an established fixture in the region's charity golf calendar, raising funds for the Memphis-based pediatric cancer research and treatment center. St. Jude never charges families for treatment, travel, housing or food—services that rely heavily on community fundraising efforts like this one.
