Saturday looks like a textbook summer day — mostly sunny skies with a high near 94 degrees and light north winds that'll die off through the afternoon. Overnight, conditions will stay pleasant with partly cloudy skies and lows around 73 degrees.

Sunday is when things get a bit more interesting. There's a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms developing after 1 p.m., though the day will start mostly sunny. Highs will be similar to Saturday, near 92 degrees, but the heat index could still climb to around 105 degrees when you factor in humidity.
