JORDAN LOSES SPEAKER VOTE AGAIN

The House has taken a second vote on Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan's bid to become Speaker. And it looks like he's failed to the the required amount of votes again. The vote came after Jordan failed yesterday to secure the support he needs to win the Speaker's gavel. Jordan told reporters he's "confident" he can eventually become Speaker, although multiple lawmakers have signaled they do not plan to back him. The Republican can afford to only lose a handful of votes. At the same time, a push to expand the power of Speaker Pro Tempore Patrick McHenry is gaining momentum.
