JET SKI CATCHES FIRE

Firefighters were called to a jet ski fire on the Santa Rosa Sound yesterday. It happened off the shore of Soundside Drive -- a caller reported the jet ski had caught fire about 300 feet out. The jet ski rider wasn't hurt in the blaze. Firefighters were able to tow the vessel to the shore where they extinguished the flames. The FWC assisted with the fire investigation.
