BREAST CANCER WALK
Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Saturday was a beautiful morning for a walk -- and thousands of people did just that during the annual "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" walk in downtown Pensacola. Channel 3 reports that more than 10-thousand people were part of the event. The American Cancer Society hosts these walks in more than 150 communities each year. The walks raise money to support breast cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers. So far, more than $200-thousand dollars has been raised throughout the community.
