HizashiCon Returns to Foo Foo Fest in Pensacola

Pensacola, Fla. - Foo Foo Fest will bring a celebration of Japanese anime back to Pensacola for a second year. The Japan-America Society of Northwest Florida says HizashiCon will be a part of the event from October 31st through November 2nd. HizashiCon celebrates Japanese anime, pop culture, and music. It kicks off Friday evening with a concert at the Rex Theatre. Saturday's main convention runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, with opportunities to meet voice actors, participate in a cosplay contest, and enjoy vendor booths. The Heartstrings Maid Café will also return. The event concludes Sunday with "Paws & Pixels" at Coastal Cat Café. General admission passes are available for $35 in advance.
