Highway 97 will see improvements...

Road improvements are coming to Highway 97. $20.6 million project to resurface Highway 97 is scheduled for 2026. Ian Satter, Public Information Director with the Florida Department of Transportation, says no further improvements are planned for Highway 97 within the next five years. FDOT continues to report multiple accidents and fatalities along the roadway.
