Gulf World Marine Dolphins to Move to St. Augustine

(Panama City Beach, FL) -- A plan is in place to move seven dolphins out of a Bay County facility that's under investigation. Congressman Neal Dunn said yesterday NOAA has told him the bottlenose dolphins at Gulf World Marine Park will be transferred to a facility in St. Johns County. Gulf World Marine Park agreed to move the dolphins after five others died at the facility in the last eight months. Dunn tells News 13 the dolphins' new home will be Marineland Dolphin Adventure in St. Augustine. There's no word on when the transfer will take place.
