Friends of West Florida Public Library Postpone Annual Meeting Due to Hurricane

The Friends of the West Florida Public Library have postponed their annual meeting and guest speaker event because of Hurricane Isaiah, according to a news release from the organization.

The rescheduled gathering was set to include a business meeting, board elections, and a presentation by local author Duel Christian. The Friends group says it will announce a new date once it's confirmed and hopes Christian will still be available to speak at the makeup event.

Facebook and Instagram followers of the Friends of the West Florida Public Library are being asked to watch for updates on the new meeting date.
