World's First Robot Artist Ai-Da Coming to Pensacola State College

Pensacola State College and the Foo Foo Festival are bringing Ai-Da, billed as the world's first ultra-realistic humanoid robot artist, to Pensacola next month for a showcase of artificial intelligence and creative expression.
The main event, "Synthetic Creativity: Ai-Da Unveiled," takes place Monday, Nov. 2, at the Pensacola Saenger Theatre. Tickets are $35, and the evening will feature a live performance by the robot, a panel discussion with experts from the Florida Institute for Human & Machine Cognition, Persona AI, Tallahassee State College, and PSC. Ai-Da will create artwork live on stage while panelists discuss the opportunities, challenges, and ethical questions raised by artificial intelligence in creative fields.
Starting the same week, a free exhibition of Ai-Da's artwork will be on display at PSC's Anna Lamar Switzer Center for the Visual Arts through the rest of the week. The exhibition will showcase the robot's distinctive pieces, giving community members a chance to explore how AI is reshaping contemporary art.
According to PSC, the event is designed for audiences of all ages and will include hands-on community activities alongside expert discussions. Ticket information and updates are available at pensacolastate.edu and foofoofest.com.
