FPL BILLS SET TO DECLINE -- David Wayne
Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- As we head into the new year, FPL bills are set to go down a few dollars per month. That's because of declining fuel costs. The utility raised rates due to high fuel costs in 2022 -- however, costs have gone down a bit now. FPL customers in Northwest Florida would pay 149.70 for one thousand kilowatt hours this year, that's down from nearly $155 in 2023. And it'll decrease a few more dollars in April after a storm-related charge ends.
