Former School Bookkeeper Arrested for Allegedly Stealing More Than $15,000 From Santa Rosa County School

Santa Rosa County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A former bookkeeper at Holley-Navarre Intermediate School is facing grand theft charges after investigators say she stole more than 15-thousand dollars from school accounts. Becky Jean Lynch, 50, was arrested Tuesday after the school discovered unauthorized credit card purchases and missing funds following her resignation on April 13th. The Santa Rosa County School District Finance Department provided documentation confirming the theft. Lynch is held in the Santa Rosa County Jail on 25-hundred dollar bond.
